Welcome to our Lavender Journey
Welcome to Fields of Agape Farms, where the air is filled with the sweet scent of lavender, and the atmosphere is always buzzing with excitement (and maybe a few bees). Nestled in the heart of Camden County, Georgia, we're more than just a lavender farm; we're a vibrant community dedicated to sustainable farming, agritourism, and spreading a little love—one lavender plant at a time.
Our Story
Once upon a time, in a land not so far away, we dreamt of creating a place where people could escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse themselves in the calming embrace of nature. And thus, Fields of Agape Farms was born! Starting with just 1 to 5 acres of aromatic lavender fields, we have grand plans to expand to a 20-acre agritourism haven, complete with a charming barn-style event venue. Picture this: weddings, workshops, and whimsical gatherings, all surrounded by endless rows of blooming lavender. Sounds dreamy, right?

Heather Rafferty
FOUNDER/ C.E.O
From a young age, tending the garden alongside my father, I learned the rhythms of the land and the companionship of plants. Those early lessons deepened under my mother's guidance, a naturopathic doctor who wove her knowledge of herbs into the fabric of our daily lives in Washington State. This blend of gardening and natural medicine blossomed into a passion for lavender, a plant as robust as it is beautiful, offering myriad uses from its soothing blossoms.
In 2020, my journey brought me to Camden County, a place where the pace of life harmonizes with my small-town spirit. Here, the community's deep-rooted passion for camaraderie echoes my own values: love, family, and faith, strengthened by the partnership with my husband and enriched by adventures with our dogs.
Fields of Agape Farms is more than a venture; it's a vision cultivated from a lifetime of cherished experiences. It embodies my commitment to fostering a sanctuary where each visit is steeped in comfort and connection. As the founder, my hands are in the soil of our lavender fields and wrapped around the blueprint of our future barn-style venue. I envision this farm as a canvas of celebration, where people come to create joyful memories amidst the backdrop of our fragrant lavender.
Whether I'm guiding tours, sharing stories, or hosting celebrations, I strive to make every interaction a testament to the beauty of simplicity and the warmth of a shared laugh. At Fields of Agape Farms, we're not just cultivating lavender; we're nurturing a community, one beautiful moment at a time.
